An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) has dry and warmer  for a short time at least It will be followed by an Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) that will send us more storms. The graphic for days 1-3 shows the frontal system moved in today and what’s next.   • A HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE SOUTH CENTRAL OREGON COAST AND THE CURRY COUNTY COAST.
  •  A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY UNTIL 11 AM FRIDAY FOR NORTHERN AND EASTERN KLAMATH COUNTY, AND CENTRAL, EASTERN AND WESTERN LAKE COUNTY.
  • A HIGH WIND WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING FOR NORTHERN AND EASTERN KLAMATH COUNTY, AND CENTRAL, EASTERN AND WESTERN LAKE COUNTY.
  • A Permanent Health Advisory remains in effect for the South Umpqua River and Lawson Bar. Pools in the bedrock along the rivers edge are known to develop Blue-green Algae (cyanobacterial) blooms that can be harmful to pets and people if accidental ingestion occurs. Signs have been posted along several access areas along the river.
