Here is my new weather quiz question for this week. On average there are about 50,000 of these per day over the world and 10 million of them in a year. What kind of weather event am I describing? Please post your answer as a comment after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

_______________

The upper airflow is moving from Northwest to Southeast bringing warm then colder air toward us. A cold front cold front dropped down Monday bringing some light rain or drizzle. We’ll have a short break from the rain then another trough of low pressure will slide in along the coast sending more storms our way. A complex frontal system will push into Oregon Wednesday with rain as the result.

Advisories:  NONE AT THIS TIME.
