The upper airflow is bringing much colder air toward us both aloft and at the surface.  Another trough of low pressure will slide in along the coast sending more storms our way and dropping snow levels in the mountains. A complex frontal system moving through Oregon brought rain and some wind as the result and snow levels falling. An arctic air mass pushed South by a strong jet stream (see airflow graphic above) will move down behind a cold front on Monday  giving us the possibility of some snowflakes reaching the Valley floor.
