Today is your last chance to answer my weekly weather quiz question. This one relates to our space program. What U.S. space vehicle was launched in 1973 and returned to earth in July of 1979? A hint: it wasn’t a “soft” landing. Please place your answer as a post after the forecasts on this page. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free of personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

Attention skiers: Hoodoo, Willamette Pass, Mt. Bachelor, and Mt. Hood Meadows are all open. Mt. Ashland reports it will open tomorrow December 3rd.

Another  trough of low pressure has moved in offshore to set us up for more storms.  A frontal system pushed through Eastern Oregon with more rain and snow. The next major frontal system will approach the Pacific Northwest between Tuesday, so that should mean a relatively dry weekend then back to wet next week.

Advisories: NONE AT THIS TIME.
