Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Core Punch?” The first person to post the correct answer as a comment on this page will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs.  Good luck.

Upper Level High Pressure (Shaded “Arch” shape with blue arrows) weakened its hold on us. The graphics for days 1-3 show the warm front that moved through the Pacific Northwest Thursday followed by a cold front and the next front approaching the coast late Sunday. An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough now  controls of our weather. The graphics for days 3-7 show the next series frontal systems heading our way next Tuesday through Saturday.
