Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is “Cryology?”  The first person to post the correct answer as a comment on this page will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs.  Good luck.

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with blue arrows) is continuing to bring the wet weather. The graphics for days 1-3 show the cold front that moves through tonight. The graphics for days 3-7 show surface high pressure trying to keep the next frontal systems away from us until next Tuesday.

Note: Mt. Ashland opened for skiing with regular hours through today. Check their webpage for details. Hoodoo reports they are open today from 9 AM until 9 PM.  Willamette Pass still doesn’t have enough snow to open.
