Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is “Cryology?” Here is the correct answer. Cryology is the science of the physical aspects of snow, ice, hail, and sleet and other forms of water produced by temperatures below Zero degrees Celsius. I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. The first person to post the correct answer as a comment on this page will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

The graphics for days 1-3 show the frontal system that moved through today. An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with arrows) takes over to take away the rain and start warming us up. The graphics for days 3-7 show surface high pressure also holding on through Friday when a cold front moves down from the north Friday night into next Saturday. Then another front approaches the coast next Sunday.
