An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with arrows) slides southeastward bringing us the chance of  showers today. The graphics for days 1-3 show the frontal system that moves through today. A High Pressure Ridge takes over late in the week for a return to drying. The graphics for days 3-7 show the frontal systems approaching the Pacific Northwest Saturday and next Monday.
