Another Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with arrows) continues to control our weather with temperatures well below normal, but the snow seems to be staying in the mountains. The graphics for days 1-3 show the front that moved through today and the next low pressure disturbance for Saturday. The graphics for days 3-7 show what looks to be a strong storm system headed toward the Pacific Northwest by next Thursday and Friday.

Note: It looks like Willamette Pass Ski, due to a lack of snow, is still not operating, but Hoodoo is open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 AM- 9 PM. Mt. Ashland is open and report all lifts are operating. They will also be open 9  AM until 4 pm March 24th through April 1st for Spring break. Check their websites for details on days of operation and ski conditions.

Note: Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 AM Sunday March 11th. That’s not this weekend, but the one after that.
