Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is a “Disdrometer?” Here is the correct answer. A Disdrometer is a piece of equipment that measures and records the size distribution of raindrops. I’ll have a new weekly weather quiz question for you starting Monday. The first person to post the correct answer as a comment on this page will win a week of free personalized weather forecasts tailored to your needs. Good luck.

The graphics for days 1-3 show the weak frontal system dropping in for a quick visit this AM. An Upper level Low Pressure Trough returns the chance of increasing clouds and that small chance for showers this AM, then an Upper Level High Pressure Ridge is takes over bringing dry and sunny weather at least for a while. The graphics for days 3-7 show the frontal systems that will be affecting the West Coast next Tuesday and another front Friday.
