The upper air flow (yellow jet stream and dark colors for winds) shows a high pressure ridge (the “Arch” shape on the yellow line) will keep us dry with lots of sunshine for a while. A trough of low pressure will slide in behind the ridge toward the weekend.  A new frontal system will bring the chance of rain back by late Thursday and Friday.
