The upper air flow trough of low pressure (“U” shape shaded area over the Pacific Northwest)  is setting up over us with a lot of Pacific moisture with it.  A cold front is moving through the region and is bringing more rain and possible freezing rain back to the area through the weekend. Monday should dry out and turn colder as a second cold front drops down from the north, but that won’t last as more disturbances will start moving in. With the colder air already here that could mean a winter mix o rain and snow even down to the valleys next week.
