An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape formed by arrows) is giving way to an Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape formed by arrows) which is approaching from the west. The low will increase marine airflow which will keep us in the cooling trend through the weekend. The graphics for days 3-7  show no major frontal systems heading our way Friday through Monday, but frontal activity picks up Tuesday and next Wednesday.
