An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape formed by arrows) sitting over Southwestern Canada and the Pacific Northwest continues to give us onshore airflow which has cooled us off. and cleared the air. Our air quality is back to normal after an intrusion of smoke Tuesday morning. Wildfires are still scattered over the state so the haze and smoke will keep returning. The graphics for days days 1-3 show a weak front moving through between tonight and Thursday. The graphics for days 3-7  show mainly surface lows pushing through the Pacific Northwest.

Note: Air quality deteriorated seriously early Tuesday morning, but went back to the Good Category. There was a serious smoke intrusion particularly in the South Hills of Eugene. There is sure to be more smoke coming our way in the future.
