An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “Arch” shape with arrows) has taken over to clear the skies and warm us up. The graphics for days 3-7 show a frontal system trying to sneak in through the back door (moving from NE to SW) but it gets pushed back to the northeast by a low and frontal system approaching the California coast and moving inland between Monday night and Tuesday.

WATER MONITORING HAS CONFIRMED THE PRESENCE OF CYANOBACTERIA AND THE TOXINS THEY PRODUCE IN KENO DAM RESERVOIR. THE CYANOTOXIN CONCENTRATIONS FOUND CAN BE HARMFUL TO TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS. PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID SWIMMING AND HIGH-SPEED WATER ACTIVITIES LIKE WATER SKIING OR POWER BOATING IN AREAS OF THE RESERVOIR WHERE CYNOTOXINS ARE IDENTIFIED.
