_______ _________

A blocking Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (Shaded “arch” shape with arrows) continues to bring sunshine with mild daytime temperatures, but early next week an Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (Shaded “U” shape with arrows in same graphic) should bring some precipitation. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold from offshore entering Washington Saturday morning. The graphics for days 3-7  increasing frontal activity increasing in the Pacific Northwest Tuesday through next Friday.

Note: Due to the continued fire danger, the outdoor burning season has been delayed until this Saturday October 20th. The next update on the burning season will be issued at 7 pm this today October 19th. Remember, burning is always prohibited within the city of Eugene.
