The upper air flow has  switched more from the northwest cutting off the heavy moisture flow. One last disturbance is moving southward away from us and taking the remaining moisture with it. A high pressure ridge (“Arch”shape in the jet stream) will build in over us and that mans it will dry out for a while. Remember that, particularly this time of the year, when it’s not raining it is usually fogging.
