An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U “shape) is allowing moisture in the form of clouds from frontal systems to move over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show the frontal system that pushed through Oregon today and the next one, a backdoor cold front that will drop temperatures even lower. The graphics for days 3-7 show more complex frontal activity moving our way Friday through next Tuesday keeping us wet.
