Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is the “Ionosphere? Here is the correct answer. The Ionosphere is a complex atmospheric zone of ionized gases that extends between 50 and 400 miles (80 to 640 kilometers) above the earth’s surface. It is located between the mesosphere and the exosphere and is included as part of the thermosphere.

The Jet Stream is sending a strong stream of moisture through the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show no major frontal systems headed toward Oregon.  The graphics for days 3-7 show more complex frontal activity moving our way Thursday through next Monday giving us chances of getting wet.
