Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is “Kinetic Energy? Here is the correct answer. Kinetic Energy is energy that a body has as a result of its motion. Mathematically, it is defined as one-half the product of a body’s mass and the square of its speed (KE = 1/2 * mass * velocity squared).

Another Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) is sending more moisture to the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show the cold front that moved through the Pacific Northwest and now a warm front will usher in more rain with another cold front following close behind it. The graphics for days 3-7 Tuesday through Saturday show the series of complex frontal systems that will slide into the Pacific Northwest through the period.
