Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is the “Lifted Index?

An Upper Level Low  is sliding down the California coast keeping the flow of coastal moisture aimed our way. The graphics for days 1-3  show a frontal system just offshore today then moving in Friday. The graphics for days 3-7  Sunday through next Thursday show a quiet weather pattern until a frontal system slides into the Pacific Northwest next Monday.
