An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) is taking over, but he problem is that it will not be bringing rain with it, just cooler temperatures.  The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7  Thursday through next Monday show what little frontal activity will occur through the period until a cold front move in between Friday and next Saturday.
