An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) still rules our weather. The graphics for days 1-3 show front on the coast Friday that will move over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7 Saturday through next Wednesday show what little frontal activity will occur through the period until a cold front moves in next Saturday. Then another cold front slides in next Tuesday.

PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE WATER IN THIS AREA UNTIL THE ADVISORY IS LIFTED. UNSAFE LEVELS OF FECAL BACTERIA CAN CAUSE DIARRHEA, STOMACH CRAMPS, SKIN RASHES, UPPER RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS, AND OTHER ILLNESSES. CHILDREN, THE ELDERLY, AND THOSE WITH COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM SHOULD USE EXTRA CAUTION AS THEY ARE MORE VULNERABLE TO ILLNESS FROM WATERBORNE BACTERIA. SIGNS HAVE BEEN POSTED ALONG SEVERAL ACCESS AREAS ALONG THE RIVER.
