Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is the “Lithosphere? ”

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) is moving closer to the Pacific coast and will warm us up into next week.. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold front moving over the Pacific Northwest Saturday. The graphics for days 3-7 Monday through next Friday show a frontal system offshore Sunday then approaching the coast next Monday.
