The jet stream shows a high pressure ridge ( “arch” shaped area) aiming the airflow toward the Pacific Northwest and a closed low pressure area headed to California. The computer models indicate a wet weather pattern will begin as a frontal system moves in from the west. Another cold front (see last graphic) will try to push down from the North Sunday night and Monday with the potential of bringing some cold Arctic air with it. Remember that, particularly this time of the year, when it’s not raining it is usually fogging and we’ve had some pretty dense fog lately.
