An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) builds in toward the coast bringing warmer air to the Pacific Northwest. No chance of the much needed rain. The graphics for days 1-3 show the frontal system approaching the coast then falling apart as it moved into the Pacific Northwest. Another cold front will be attempting to push through Oregon Sunday. The graphics for days 3-7 Tuesday through Saturday show a weak front falling apart as it attempts to move through Oregon and no other fronts pushing into or through the Pacific Northwest during rest of the period.

PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID SWIMMING AND HIGH SPEED WATER ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS WATER SKIING OR POWER BOATING, IN AREAS OF THE RESERVOIR WHERE BLOOMS ARE, AS THE MAJOR ROUTE OF EXPOSURE IS INGESTION OF WATER. TOXINS ARE NOT ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN, HOWEVER, THOSE WITH SKIN SENSITIVITIES MAY GET A PUFFY RED RASH.
