Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Mountainado? ”

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) keeps our weather pattern stable with normal temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold front pushing through the Pacific Northwest Monday. The graphics for days 3-7 Thursday through Monday show no frontal activity pushing into or through Oregon during the period until a weak front shows up to our northwest falling apart next Monday. So far the smoke has been staying in Eastern Lane County, but if the winds shift that might not be the case.
