Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Mountainado? ”

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) keeps our weather pattern stable with normal temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show a cold front pushing through the Pacific Northwest Tuesday and Wednesday. The graphics for days 3-7 Thursday through Monday show a frontal system well offshore through next Monday. So far the wildfire smoke has been staying in Eastern Lane County, but if the winds shift that might not be the case.

Oakridge: The Air Quality Index is 87 in the Moderate category measuring Particulate Matter.
