Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is  an “Occluded Front?”

_______________

Zonal (West to East) airflow continues the moisture feed, but weak high pressure brings short-lived drying. The graphics for days 1-3  show the next frontal systems that will move through the Pacific Northwest today and Wednesday. The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show the complex frontal system that impacts our weather Sunday. Another front will be offshore next Tuesday.
