The jet stream shows the high pressure ridge that kept us under a relatively calm weather pattern has moved Eastward away from us and a large trough of low pressure ( “U” shaped area just offshore) is swinging in behind it. A frontal system has pushed through the Pacific Northwest bringing rain, wind, and lowering snow levels with it. Be prepared for possible slippery roads at least late night and early AM for the next few days.
