The jet stream shows a large trough of low pressure ( “U” shaped area over us) that pumped a lot of moisture our way. A frontal system will move through the Pacific Northwest today and it looks like we’ll dry out, at least for part of the weekend, before more storms will head toward us next week.

Advisories: A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON TODAY FOR THE NORTH OREGON CASCADES AND UNTIL 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE COAST RANGE OF NORTHWEST OREGON.
