A spatial and temporal precipitation forecast that will predict the potential amount of future precipitation for a specified region, or area.

An Upper Level Low Pressure Trough (“U” shape) moves up along the coast.  The graphics for days 1-3  show the frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest Monday. The graphics for days 3-7    Tuesday through Saturday show the parade of frontal systems headed toward the Pacific Northwest Wednesday and Thursday and Thursday and Friday.
