An upper level low (shaded area) is still bringing cold modified Arctic air through Canada to us. The colder weather will last until the weekend, then it will warm up a bit and get wet. Friday night and Saturday morning could see a wintery mix of rain, freezing rain, and even light snow flurries continuing before changing to rain Saturday afternoon .

For the Cascades: The free air freezing level will be at the surface today through  Thursday night, 3,000′ Thursday night, 3,500′, Friday, Friday night a winter mix of rain, snow, & freezing rain the snow level will be at 3,500′. The snow level will be at 3,500′  Saturday and  Saturday night & 3,000′ Sunday and Sunday night. Monday the snow level will rise to 4,000′, 5,000′ Monday night and 6,500′ Tuesday.
