Tim Chuey Weather

Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. “What is a “Sea Breeze?” Here is the correct answer. A Sea Breeze is a thermally produced wind blowing during the day from a cool ocean surface onto the adjoining warm land, caused by the difference in the rates of heating of the surfaces of the ocean and of the land.

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) strengthens again over us bringing more sunshine and heat. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems near the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7   Tuesday through Saturday show no frontal systems sliding into the Pacific Northwest through the period. There will be a cold front to our northwest next Wednesday then moving in between next Thursday and Friday.
