Tim Chuey Weather

Here is my weekly new weather quiz question. “What is a “Severe Thunderstorm?”

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) is still over us bringing more sunshine and intense heat. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems near the Pacific Northwest except for one to our northwest Wednesday. The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show a cold front that moved through Oregon Thursday night and early Friday morning.
