Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. “What is “Smog?” Here is the correct answer. Smog: Originally smog meant a mixture of smoke and fog. Now, it means air that has restricted visibility due to pollution or pollution formed in the presence of sunlight–photochemical smog.

The Jet Stream gives us Zonal airflow (West to East) continuing the warm temperatures over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system moving into our area today. The graphics for days 3-7 Tuesday through Saturday show a frontal system pushing through the Pacific Northwest Wednesday and Thursday.
