Here is my weekly weather quiz question “What is  “Snotel?”

____________

The Jet Stream  gives us Zonal airflow (West to East) continuing keeping temperatures about average for this time of the year over the Pacific Northwest.  The graphics for days 1-3  show a frontal system moving into Oregon today and tonight. The graphics for days 3-7    Sunday through Thursday show the frontal system exiting Oregon Saturday  Another front will push through Wednesday and next Thursday.
