Tim Chuey Weather

Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is the “Solar Wind?” Here is the correct answer. Solar Wind is the outward flux of solar particles and magnetic fields from the sun. Typically, solar wind velocities are near 350 km/s.

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge continues the warming. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems sliding through Oregon through the period until a cold front slides in between tonight and Monday morning. The graphics for days 3-7   Wednesday through Sunday show no frontal systems pushing into the Pacific Northwest through the period.

Note: We’re having really nice weather for the Labor Day Holiday.
