Here is my weekly new weather quiz question. What is the “Spring Tide?”

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) continues moving eastward as Upper Level Low Pressure (“U” shape) takes over. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems sliding through Oregon through the period until a cold front slides in by this morning. The graphics for days 3-7   Thursday through Monday show no frontal systems pushing into the Pacific Northwest through the period.

Note: We’re having really nice weather for the Labor Day Holiday.
