Sorry no winner this week. Here’s the weather quiz question for the last time. What should you do if you see someone struck by lightning? Here is the answer. If someone is struck by lightning you should immediately call 911. If they are not breathing perform CPR (they do not hold the electric charge from the lightning so it is safe to touch them). I’ll have another weather quiz question for you starting next Monday. Please post your answer as a comment by clicking on “no comments” in the upper right hand portion of this page under the caption, then add your comment. The first person to post the correct answer will win a week of free personalized  weather forecasts tailored to your needs. The answer has to be a comment to win. An email answer will not count.

The jet stream shows another cold trough of low pressure ( “U” shaped area) migrating Eastward toward the Pacific Northwest. A frontal system will be moving across Oregon and is bringing back the chances of rain and mountain snow. Another stronger and wetter frontal system will be coming our way early next week with a parade of storms to follow producing even more precipitation.
