Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Stationary Front?”

____________

A strong Upper Level Low Pressure Trough moves away as an Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) takes over. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems approaching the coast.  The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show no fronts sliding through the Pacific Northwest through the period, but a cold front will be to our north next Tuesday.
