Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is a “Stationary Front?” Here is the correct answer. A Stationary Front is a front between warm and cold air masses that is moving very slowly or not at all.

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) has taken over control of our weather. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems moving through Oregon.  The graphics for days 3-7   Tuesday through Saturday show no fronts sliding through the Pacific Northwest through the period until a cold front will be moving into Oregon next Thursday, then another front will push through between late Thursday and Friday.
