Tim Chuey Weather

Here is my weekly weather quiz question for the last time. What is a “Stationary Front?” Here is the correct answer. A Stationary Front is a front between warm and cold air masses that is moving very slowly or not at all.

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) will take over control of our weather Monday as the Low Pressure Trough (“U”) moves away overnight tonight. The graphics for days 1-3  show no frontal systems moving through Oregon.  The graphics for days 3-7   Wednesday through Sunday show a cold front will be moving into Oregon next Thursday and Friday.
