Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is the “Statosphere”?

____________

Upper Level High Pressure   (“Arch” shape)is being pushed aside by Upper level Low Pressure (“U” shape) which means rain chances return. The graphics for days 1-3 show a frontal system that moved through today. The graphics for days 3-7   Saturday through Wednesday show a complex frontal system sliding through Tuesday and next Wednesday.

Note: Lane County residents will have to wait until Friday, November 1, 2024, at the earliest for the opening of the fall outdoor burning season. The season is typically scheduled to start on October 1st each year. However, the decision to delay has been jointly made by the Lane County Fire Defense Board and the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF).
