Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is the “Thermocline “?

____________

The Jet Stream has moved to the south, but surface low pressure is still is sending moisture our way, but that’s going to change soon. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems.  The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show no serious frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest through the period, but a complex frontal system will be to our Northwest next Tuesday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass Ski announced it will be open again Friday November 29th for early season skiing, Hoodoo is not open yet, Mt. Ashland is not open yet.
