Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is the “Thermocline “?

____________

A split Split Jet Stream (North and South of us) brings plenty of sunshine, but cold overnight temperatures, through the weekend. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems.  The graphics for days 3-7   Sunday through Thursday show no serious frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest through the period, but a complex frontal system will be well to our Northwest next Thursday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass Ski announced it will be open again tomorrow Friday November 29th for early season skiing, Hoodoo is not open yet, Mt. Ashland is not open yet. Check their Web sites for any new updates.
