Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Tornado Family “?

____________

The Jet stream is still sending cold air southward into the Pacific Northwest producing cold overnight temperatures and cooler than normal high temperatures. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems.  The graphics for days 3-7   Friday through Tuesday show no serious frontal activity over the Pacific Northwest until a cold front pushes through Saturday, then surface high pressure takes over next Monday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass Ski announced it is open now for early season skiing every day of the week starting Tuesday, Hoodoo will be opening open 9am til 4pm  December 5-8., Mt. Ashland announced opening day will be Friday December 6th.  Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
