Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Tornado Vortex Signature “?

____________

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) is moving toward the Pacific Northwest as the Upper Level Low Pressure leaves. The graphics for days 1-3 show no frontal systems moving into or over Oregon through the period.  The graphics for days 3-7    Friday through Tuesday show a complex frontal system will be pushing into the coast Saturday and Saturday night, then a frontal system will be marching through Monday with a warm front just offshore next Tuesday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and  Mt. Ashland are all open for the ski season. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
