Here is my weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Tornado Vortex Signature “?
____________
An (“U” shape) is moving toward the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show one frontal system moving through the Pacific Northwest and another wetter system following behind it. The graphics for days 3-7 Saturday through Wednesday show a complex frontal system will be pushing into the coast Saturday and Saturday night, then a frontal system will be marching through Monday and Monday night with a complex frontal system just offshore next Wednesday.
Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass, Hoodoo, and Mt. Ashland are all open for the ski season. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
