Here is my new weekly weather quiz question. What is a “Tropical Storm Warning “?

An Upper Level High Pressure Ridge (“Arch” shape) starts clearing out the clouds and rain over Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 1-3 show less frontal activity moving over the Pacific Northwest. The graphics for days 3-7   Saturday through Wednesday show less frontal activity continuing through the period until a cold front moves in next Tuesday followed by a complex frontal system Wednesday.

Note: Ski Report: Willamette Pass (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Hoodoo (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and  Mt. Ashland (closed Tuesday and Wednesday) are all open for the ski season. Check their Web sites for specific mountain conditions and hours of operation.
